I began my career in the banking industry at the age of 17, working as a teller and later advancing to a personal banker role. After gaining valuable experience in banking, I transitioned to the construction sector, where I worked in the HR and Payroll Department. In 2007, I moved overseas to join an international investment firm, gaining further insight into the financial industry. Upon returning to the United States in 2008, I decided to complete my Accounting degree. In 2010, I began working at a Financial Planning office in Surprise, Arizona, where we served a large number of tax clients from the Sun City area. During tax season, I noticed a recurring challenge: many senior clients often struggled to gather all the necessary documents for their tax returns. To alleviate this burden, I started offering to complete tax returns at their homes at a time that was convenient for them. Additionally, I would assist in sorting and organizing their paperwork, ensuring a smoother and more efficient process. Over time, as I worked with clients, many sought my assistance beyond just tax season. They often needed clarification on various financial documents and statements unrelated to their tax returns. This ongoing need for support, even after tax season, became evident as I received phone calls throughout the year, helping them manage and understand their paperwork. Through these experiences, I realized the ongoing struggles that seniors face with paperwork-whether it’s mountains of mail or the constant need for assistance. I became determined to empower my clients to make informed financial decisions while ensuring that their wishes are respected. As word spread, I built my own tax business, where I not only provide tax services but also assist clients in managing their paperwork and organizing their offices. Having personally assisted my grandparents with similar challenges while they lived in Sun City, I truly understand how burdensome paperwork can be.
